I am totally fascinated by the band Battles. They have an album out called Mirrored and it's really nuts. I just read on Wikipedia that Battles are a Math rock band. If you know what that means please tell me. Here's the video of Atlas to keep you occupied in the mean time.

Math Rock is essentially reggae-jazz meets Capin Beef-atom-heartmother-floyd. I didn't like this the first time i heard it - But annoyingly it's starting to really grow on me. I'm loving the relentless drums the 4 on the floor stomp of Godzilla marching down some metropolisis squishing chipmonks as he reeks merry hell and destruction on all those who cross his robotic, in the zone, psychotic, tunnel-visioned path.... In fact I totally love it - go figure all in the space of 10 minutes.
